db symmetry set to develop 46-acre site

28 September 2015

db symmetry, the Delancey and Barwood joint venture logistics property development platform, has been appointed by Arla Foods to bring forward a 46-acre site near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The food giant had been looking for a development partner for the site after deeming the land, adjacent to its milk-processing facility in Aston Clinton, surplus to requirements.

The site, next to the A41, has outline planning permission for the development of up to 700,000 sq ft of buildings for light industrial, manufacturing and warehouse uses.

The scheme will be marketed as Symmetry Park and will be developed on a build-to-suit basis. DB Symmetry will be looking to secure pre-lets and pre-sales of new buildings of between 100,000 sq ft and 700,000 sq ft.

Savills and Brasier Freeth have been appointed agents.
