symmetry park, Kettering allocated for development
The North Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit formally adopted the Joint Core Strategy 2011-2031 at their meeting of 14th July 2016. Accordingly, symmetry park, Kettering is now included as an allocated employment site within the Development Plan as part of the wider ‘Policy 37 Land at Kettering South’ allocation. In accordance with Policy 37, symmetry park, Kettering will focus on the delivery of B8 (Logistics) development.
Extending to a total of 136 acres, symmetry park, Kettering has the capacity to deliver up to 2,310,000 sq ft of logistics floor space. Situated directly alongside the A14 “Trans-European” freight route at Junction 9, the site provides prominence for occupiers and excellent transport links to the national motorway and trunk road network.
An outline planning application will be submitted for the scheme in summer 2016
